Prior to taking on the role of Chief Executive Officer, Ray served as Chief Operating Officer of TD Bank Group and prior to that as Group Head of Canadian Personal Banking. He has held senior leadership roles across the Bank including serving as President and CEO of TD Insurance, President of TD Direct Investing, and Group Head for Wealth Management and TD Insurance. Ray has also worked across the Bank in a variety of areas including product, distribution, direct channels, customer experience, and data and analytics. He began his career with TD as a management associate in 1992.
As CEO, Ray is committed to driving the Bank's progress through strategic transformation, creating exceptional customer experiences and fostering diverse, high-performing teams that deliver long-term value for customers, clients and shareholders.
Born in Korea, Ray holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario and a Master of Business Administration from Queen’s University.
Ray and his wife, Karen, make their home in Oakville, Ontario and they have two grown children.
Kelvin has been with TD for more than 20 years and has held progressively senior roles, previously serving as Head, Enterprise Finance. Prior to this, Kelvin served as Chief Financial Officer, TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank® (AMCB), Chief Accountant, SVP for Treasury and Balance Sheet Management, Chief Financial Officer for TD Securities, and Chief Auditor.
Throughout his career, Kelvin has distinguished himself as a talented people leader, who has been active in supporting diversity and inclusion both at TD and within the community, including as Founding President of Ascend Canada, a not-for-profit organization focused on developing pan-Asian leaders.
Kelvin was previously a member of the Board of Directors of Diabetes Canada and past Chair of their Audit Committee. He was also previously a community member of the Finance and Audit Committee for the Markham Stouffville Hospital and served as Treasurer and Chair of the Finance, Pension and Audit Committee for the Board of Regents of Victoria University, in the University of Toronto.
Kelvin holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University as well as a number of professional designations including Fellow Chartered Professional Accountant, Fellow Chartered Accountant, and Chartered Financial Analyst.
Previously, he served as Chief Risk Officer for TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank . Prior to his U.S. appointment, Ajai was Vice Chair and Head of the Europe and Asia-Pacific Division, where he was responsible for overseeing the capital markets and banking activities of TD Securities in the region.
Ajai’s career with TD spans more than 25 years and has included roles in the Commercial Bank, Risk and the Corporate and Investment Bank. He was Chief Operating Officer for TD Securities, and was also Head of Credit Risk for the Investment Bank and the Managing Director and Country Head, India, for TD.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce with honors from Delhi University and a Master of Business Administration from Duke University. He has also attended the Advanced Risk Management Program at the Wharton School.
Sona joined TD 20 years ago and has led growth across Canadian Personal Banking, including most recently leading CPB's largest businesses, Personal Deposits and Real Estate Secured Lending. Sona leads transformation, leveraging her experience across Product, Branch Banking, Technology and Analytics. With Sona's leadership, TD has grown to be the leading bank for the New to Canada Segment.
Sona has also served in leadership roles more broadly across TD, including as Head of Claims in TD Insurance and Head of Credit Risk in TD Auto Finance.
Her passion for furthering equity, diversity and inclusion is seen both internally and externally, with Sona serving as the Executive Sponsor for TD's South Asian Colleague Network, and in the community, previously serving on the Brampton and GTA Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors.
In 2023, Sona was named as one of Canada's Top 100 Most Powerful Women by the Women's Executive Network (WXN), an award recognizing women across Canada who have made a transformational impact in their field.
Sona holds an MBA from Queen's University and a Bachelor of Arts and Science from McMaster University.
Sona and her husband, Raj, reside in the GTA with their two young children.
Barbara joined TD in 1994, spending the first 12 years with the Wholesale Bank, taking on various client-facing roles in Fixed Income, including in the areas of securitization and credit products. In 2006, she joined the Corporate Development team, playing an integral role in many important acquisitions in Canada and the U.S., and assuming leadership of the group in 2011. Barbara assumed responsibility for Treasury and Balance Sheet Management as the Bank's Treasurer in 2015, where she oversaw liquidity, funding, investments, funds transfer pricing, capital management, asset-liability management, stress testing, resolution and recovery planning, and treasury operations. Barbara's mandate expanded as she assumed leadership of Strategic Sourcing in 2019, Enterprise Real Estate in 2021, and Enterprise Strategy and Sustainability and Corporate Citizenship in 2022.
Barbara holds an MBA from York University and a BA in Economics from the University of Toronto. She volunteers with United Way of Greater Toronto, a charity which creates opportunities for communities in the Greater Toronto Area, and Eva's Initiatives, an organization that provides safe shelter and services to Toronto's homeless and at-risk youth. She also serves on the Canadian Government's Sustainable Finance Action Council and chairs the Technical Expert Group focused on climate-related financial disclosures.
In recognition of her pioneering career in Canadian banking, Barbara was named as one of Canada's Top 100 Most Powerful Women by the Women's Executive Network in 2018. She has a passion for mentoring and has supported many colleagues across the bank in their career journeys.
Leo assumed his current role in 2022 and prior to that served as Group Head, Wealth Management and TD Insurance for TD Bank Group, where he was responsible for TD's Direct Investing, Advice and Asset Management businesses in Canada and the United States as well as TD's Insurance business in Canada.
Prior to joining TD in 2011, Leo served as Chief Executive Officer of Barclays' Western European Retail and Commercial Banking group. He also managed Retail Banking for Citibank across Europe, the Middle East and Northern Africa. He has nearly 30 years of retail banking and investment management experience.
At TD, Leo has led the Inclusion and Diversity Leadership Council, where he played an instrumental role in increasing representation across the Bank and further embedding TD's core values of diversity and inclusion into talent development, community support and customer service.
Leo received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Miami and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
Paul joined TD over 35 years ago and has built an extensive career that spans across TD Retail Banking, Commercial Banking, TD Securities, Auto Finance and Audit across Canada and the U.S. Since joining TD Wealth in 2016, Paul has led TD Direct Investing, Financial Planning and Private Wealth Management.
Paul served as the co-chair of the Disability Inclusion Business Council – a federal advisory body focused on workplace inclusion. Paul currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Scarborough Health Network.
Paul has two children, Matthew and Rebecca, and lives in Toronto with his wife, Susan.
Tim most recently served as Group Head, Wealth Management and Insurance, where he was responsible for the TD Direct Investing, Private Wealth Management and Asset Management businesses in Canada, United States, Asia and Europe, as well as the TD Insurance business which includes home, auto, creditor, life, and travel medical.
Prior to that, Tim served as Vice Chair and Co-Head of Global Investment Banking, leading the dealer's Investment Banking, Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital Markets activities, as well as Co-Head of Global Markets sales, trading, and the origination functions for TD Securities. His career with TD spans over 20 years, originally joining in 2000 with the acquisition of Newcrest Capital. In 2013, Tim was appointed CEO of TD Asset Management, overseeing investment management, operations, risk management, and distribution. In 2017, he was appointed Head of Equities & Commodities and served in that capacity until 2021.
Tim also played a crucial role as Co-Chair in our ESG Solutions team, contributing to the development and support of the firm’s ESG strategy. He was also the Co-Chair of our United Way High Value Giving Campaign, and a former member of Crescent School’s Board of Governors.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Ontario and is a CFA charter holder.

Raymond Chun

Kelvin Vi Luan Tran
Group Head and Chief Financial Officer, TD Bank Group Kelvin Tran is Group Head and Chief Financial Officer, TD Bank Group, effective March 9, 2023. Head of TD Wealth Management Paul Clark is Senior Executive Vice President of TD's Wealth Management business and a member of TD's Senior Executive team.
